UNIT 1

Rom. 3:10  as it is written, "There is none righteous, not even one;"

 

Eph. 2:8-9  For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.

 

Prov. 14:12   There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.

 

Acts 16:31   And they said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved, you and your household."

James 1:27   This is true and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father, to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

Phil. 1:6   For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

 

John 15:5   I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing.

 

Luke 9:62   But Jesus said to him, "No one, after putting his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."

Is. 53:6   All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him.

 

Luke 19:10   For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

 

James 2:19   You believe that God is one.  You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.

Rom. 3:23   for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Rom. 5:8   But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

 

Rom. 10:9-10   that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved;  for with the heart man believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

 

Rom. 10:13    for "Whoever will call upon the name of the LORD will be saved."

 

Rom. 12:1-2   I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God which is your spiritual service of worship.  And do not be conformed to this world, but the transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

 

Phil. 1:21   For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

 

Rom. 8:1   There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

 

Heb. 4:12   For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

 

Acts 20:21   solemnly testifying to both Jews and Greeks of repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

1 Cor. 2:14   But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.
